FLAPJACK is typeface that was created in 2022 with the goal of creating a typeface that makes people smile. In selecting with the small independent syrup company, Bushwick Kitchen, out of Bushwick, NY, I was able to capture the personality of the brand in a personalized hand crafted typeface. Through many painstaking hours of cooking, eating, and refining each of the letter forms, I gave this ad campaign a personality that the subways of New York had yet to see.
